Society visit to Stratford 8th November 2013

The rain followed us fromWarwick to Stratford but did not dampen spirits.

Vice President John Richards met the party in Stratford and took us on a walking tour of  the town visiting  the sites that were connected with Shakespeare.

 A Lottery funded visit

A selection of photographs from Heritage Day

Heritage Day proved to be very successful for the Society.   It attracted over two hundred visitors, and the first to arrive – they were waiting outside when the doors opened – were pupils from Mynachlog Nedd Primary School

We had visits from the Mayor of Neath Port Talbot, Marian Lewis and AM Peter Black.

There were over two hundred visitors on the day both members and non members.

A small sample of the donations we received

The refreshments were a resounding success.
